Tireco adds all-season to Nankang lineup

GARDENA, Calif. (May 12, 2015) — Tireco Inc. has added the Nankang SP-9 Cross Sport all-season radial to the Nankang brand lineup it markets in North America.

The SP-9 Cross Sport, produced by Taiwan's Nankang Rubber Tire Corp., will be available initially in 35 sizes in 16- to 20-inch rim diameters in H and V speed ratings to cover a range of touring and CUV fitments, Tireco said.

The tire's features include:

• Four circumferential grooves and angled tread blocks to increased traction and enhanced lateral grip;
• Sipes throughout the tread to facilitate water evacuation;
• A 560AA UTQG rating; and
• A 50,000-mile warranty

Sizes range from 215/70R16 to 275/45R20, according to Tireco.

Gardena-based Tireco owns and distributes the Milestar, Geostar, Geotrac, Nanco and Tracgard brands and is the exclusive distributor for the Nankang brand in North America and the Westlake passenger and light truck tire brand in the U.S.
