ALLENTOWN, Pa. (May 7, 2015) — Parts Central Inc., a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, has selected MAM Software Inc. as its business management solutions provider.
Macon, Ga.-based Parts Central, an auto parts distributor serving Tennessee, Georgia and north Florida, will utilize MAM's Autopart business management software designed for the automotive aftermarket. Autopart will provide the company with functionality like point-of-sale, inventory management, forecasting, purchasing, warehouse management, reporting, business intelligence and a fully integrated accounting package, MAM said.
“In the past, we've always written our own software,” said Trace Butler, COO for Parts Central. “To replace that software, we needed a strong solution built on a modern platform that's flexible enough to keep up with our needs.”
Autopart is a business management solution designed to operate automotive warehouses and stores, fusing together business activities like sales, inventory management, accounting, warehouse management and reporting processes, according to MAM. The software uses Microsoft SQL technology to coordinate, organize and combine everything from point-of-sale and inventory management to accounting and database management.
