LAVAL, Quebec (April 28, 2015) — Kia Canada Inc. has inked a deal with Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. to make Michelin-brand replacement tires available at Kia dealerships in Canada.
“Through this agreement, Kia has ensured that their dealerships across the country have a top-tier tire brand synonymous with safety to offer their drivers,” said Sylvaine Cuniberti, marketing director, Michelin Canada.
The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of Michelin's Premier LTX tire, which debuted April 14 at Michelin Canada's signature Spring Safety Event, featuring the 2016 Kia Sorento SX.
“We are thrilled to have Michelin North America as part of our National Account Program,” said John Stoian, director of parts and after sales, Kia Canada.
“This partnership is a natural fit and one that will facilitate added business for Kia dealerships across Canada, providing customers a tire brand, like Michelin, that focuses on road safety and doesn't compromise on quality.”
Mississauga, Ontario-based Kia Canada is a subsidiary of South Korea's Kia Motors Corp. In business since 1999, Kia Canada claims a network of 188 dealers nationwide selling the brand's Soul, Forte, Optima and Sorento lines.
