COMPTON, Calif. (April 17, 2015) — Off-road performance product sales and installation specialist 4 Wheel Parts is holding three grand reopenings at retail stores in Texas this weekend.
The company said its locations in Coppell, Fort Worth and Dallas have been completely remodeled and are now open for business, with events on Saturday, April 18, that include hourly prize drawings, T-shirt giveaways and discounts on 4x4 parts and accessories.
“The new Dallas showroom is updated with interactive displays that include many products such as lighting, suspension, wheels and Dick Cepek tires, and customers love that they can actually touch and feel the parts,” said Eric Schultz, store manager of the Dallas 4 Wheel Parts outlet. “For our grand reopening event this weekend, we'll have discounts on the popular Smittybilt XRC winch and we're giving away a $500 shopping spree promotional gift card and free food.”
The reopenings at all three stores are, according to 4 Wheel Parts, free, family-friendly events that will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Off-road enthusiasts “will get an up-close look at the latest truck and Jeep parts and accessories from popular manufacturers like Rugged Ridge and WeatherTech,” the company said, noting that it will be offering installation deals on purchases, with services performed by the retailer's on-site team of ASE-certified technicians.
Transamerican Auto Parts, parent company of 4 Wheel Parts, recently said it was expanding in the Southeast U.S. by acquiring the facility in Coppell — a move that it said increased supply and inventory levels and doubled the size of the existing distribution center there.
“The distribution center here in Coppell not only means we have a huge parking lot to hold these great events, but more importantly, we have a huge amount of parts onsite,” said Doug Baker, Coppell store manager. Vendors participating in the grand reopening celebrations will include Air Lift Performance, ARB 4x4 Accessories, Fab Fours Bumpers (with its new F-150 and Poison Spyder Customs), which was recently acquired by Transamerican.
“The local Lone Star Jeep Club will set up an RTI ramp with a contest for who can travel highest on it,” Mr. Baker added.
The three locations that are reopening are:
- Coppell, 800 W. Sandy Lake Rd., phone: 972-538-8630;
- Dallas, 909 N. Riverfront Blvd., phone: 214-672-1760; and
- Fort Worth, 3421 Brandon Lane, phone: 817-560-2455.
