SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 14, 2015) — The California Automotive Business Coalition (CalABC) has named Johan Gallo executive director and Bud Rice president.
The CalABC is an alliance of automotive service companies and organizations that works with other industry stakeholders — including consumers, vendors, government agencies and the department of education — in an effort to improve the industry and promote automotive vocational programs in the state.
Mr. Gallo has 42 years' experience in the automotive repair industry and has worked directly with the coalition since it was formed in 1992. He has held the positions of secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of the coalition, according to the CalABC.
Mr. Rice has 39 years' experience in the industry and has worked with the coalition since 2005, serving as secretary and treasurer.
He is president of Side B Corp., which does business as Quality Tune-Up Shops, with locations in North Bay, East Bay and Solano County, Calif.
