Tires by Web to sell on Amazon

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (April 10, 2015) — Retailer Tire Factory Inc.'s Tires by Web online business will begin selling Nokian car and light truck tires and American Racing wheels on the Amazon.com online retailing site.

“We are very excited about being contacted by Amazon to sell our tires and wheels through this impressive sales channel and look forward to a long lasting partnership with Amazon,” said Ryan Holtzer, CEO of Tire Factory Inc. and Tires by Web.

Tires by Web specializes in American Racing wheels and Nokian tires and stocks more than 20,000 SKUs, the company said. It advertises free shipping and handling to customers in the lower 48 U.S. states on its website.

Mount Pleasant-based Tire Factory — which bills itself on its website as “your tire superstore…dare to compare”— operates five retail stores and ships tires, wheels and other related products throughout North America. The Tires by Web business office is in Lansing, Mich.

The company sells several tires brands, including Nokian, Vredestein, Multi-Mile, Firestone, Cooper and Michelin.
