RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (April 10, 2015) — Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. has unveiled the GT Radial GTL922 FS premium line haul trailer tire.
The tire — SmartWay-verified and designed for the North American market — features a four-straight-groove design for enhanced driving stability and effective water flow; aggressive sipes and microsipes on the ribs to provide wet grip; and a diamond-shaped groove bottom design to prevent stone retention and casing damage, Giti said.
The GTL922 FS also includes three advanced Giti technologies, including: Equal Force Casing (EFC) that enables an optimal tire footprint and equal force distribution for better control and regular tread wear; Giti Cap Base Design that provides wear resistance; and Duo Filler Technology with hard and soft bead fillers to help provide a more comfortable ride and smoother handling, along with better durability.
The GT Radial GTL922 FS is available in four 14-ply sizes: 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5; 11R24.5; and 285/75R24.5.
