LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bridgestone Americas has revitalized its Dayton-brand truck tire line and launched a dedicated website and tagline, “Tires for Truckers,” for the brand, which is targeted at independent owner-operators and small fleets.

Bridgestone rolled out the new products and image at the recent Mid-America Truck Show in Louisville, where Tire Business reporter Bruce Davis spoke with Matt Loos, director of truck and bus marketing, Bridgestone Commercial. Check out the video to hear more about the line.

Bridgestone doubled the number of Dayton lines available to eight patterns, including three SmartWay-verified/California Air Resources Board compliant options.

“With this next-generation Dayton lineup we are better positioned to deliver a full range of quality products at an incredible value,” Mr. Loos said.

Bridgestone relaunched the Dayton medium truck tire line in 2013 after a two-year retirement as a “value line” for small fleets and independent truckers.
