SANTA ANA, Calif. (March 20, 2015) — Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) is expanding on its initial partnership with non-profit playground developer KaBOOM! through the inking of a three-year multichannel partnership.
The deal, which plays off YTC's original agreement with KaBOOM! announced in late 2014, includes cause-marketing campaigns, playground builds and annual title sponsorships, the tire maker said.
Washington, D.C.-based KaBOOM! is “dedicated to ensuring all children get the balanced and active play they need to thrive.” The organization was named by YTC as the charity recipient of the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in 2014. All proceeds from the annual tournament have been earmarked to fund KaBOOM! efforts to provide children with active play.
