SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (March 20, 2015) — Illinois Tool Works' Fix-A-Flat will be a product sponsor for the second season of “Fine Tuned,” a high-end, sport compact vehicle makeover television series.
“Fine Tuned” builders seek out sport compact owners who don't have time or money, or both, to modify their cars and create the owner's dream car in just a week.
“Many makeovers include the removal of the spare tire from the vehicle, leaving the owner with no solution in the event of a flat tire. That's where the Fix-A-Flat Ultimate 1-Step comes in,” said Chad Marshall, executive producer of “Fine Tuned.”
The Fix-A-Flat Ultimate 1-Step kit will be featured in each makeover this season. The kit is similar to OEM kits that manufacturers are using to replace spare tires and jacks in new vehicles. Sealant and air are injected through the same hose to repair and inflate a flat tire in seven minutes, the company said.
The series, produced by Fine Tuned Productions L.L.C., used to appear on Speed Channel but is no longer airing in North America. A publicist for the program said the company is in negotiations with a new network. In the meantime, it will air in more than a 100 other countries.
