TireJobs hits 15th b-day

FREDERICK, Md. (March 18, 2015) — The tire industry-specific employment referral service TireJobs Co. is marking its 15th year in business.

The Web-based firm, founded in 2000 by owner and President Carl Koester, uses the tagline, “Find One or Fill One.”

With the nation's economy improving, Mr. Koester predicts there will be “a huge shuffle of employees,” and is advising companies to “start working on their bench strength now before the talent is no longer available.” He added that businesses should “understand that your top employees will be solicited by your competitors.”

In marking TireJobs' anniversary, Mr. Koester said he “would like to thank the many employer clients that have signed up for the program — and the thousands of job seekers that I have had the opportunity to meet and assist. It's been a very uplifting fifteen years.”

The company's principal source of available job seekers is derived from resumes submitted to the TireJobs website www.tirejobs.com and from its “new jobs” email updates. Mr. Koester said the firm's main source of employers is derived through industry contacts and website exposure.
