BOWIE, Md. (March 13, 2015) — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has set April 14-17 as the dates for the San Diego stop on its Certified Automotive Training Service (ATS) Instructor Class.
The four-day class will be held at Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, Calif., TIA said.
The Certified ATS Instructor class offers in-depth classroom and hands-on training that industry professionals must complete successfully to be certified to return to their workplaces to train technicians for certification, according to TIA.
The Certified ATS class includes safety guidelines and step-by-step procedures for all aspects of passenger and light truck tire service, including wheel installation and tire repair, TIA said. A full day is devoted to instruction on tire pressure monitoring systems.
