APW is a multi-purpose enterprise owned jointly by all shareholders of the AAPA.
“I've worked with Anne for many years on various industry technology related projects and am delighted to have the opportunity to add her to our IT team,” said Dale E. Hopkins, vice president and CIO of the Alliance.
“Her broad systems, catalog, infrastructure and software development prowess coupled with her project management expertise will add a strategic dimension to our IT capabilities.”
Ms. Coffin's background includes major consulting engagements with companies as varied as IBM, Georgia Pacific and Dana Corp. when she was president and owner of Kaleidoscope Systems, the Alliance said. Additionally, after serving as CIO of Beck/Arnley Worldparts Corp., she established BlueWing Resource Group, where she was president.
“I look forward to working with what is clearly the most innovative IT team in the aftermarket,” Ms. Coffin said. “They have shared with me some of the plans and direction at APW and I am excited about the progressive technologies we will be deploying.”
