BPI promotes Jondahl to CIO

MCHENRY, Ill. (Feb. 27, 2015) — Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) has promoted Barry Jondahl to the post of chief information officer (CIO).

 BPI President and CEO David Overbeeke said that “during the two years that he has been with BPI, Barry has been an integral part of the team and has greatly enhanced our company in the areas of IT networking, service desk and ERP functional resources.

“His expertise will be vital as we continue to build on our technological capabilities and move forward with new systems that will not only help to keep the day-to-day operations of the company running smoothly, but will greatly benefit BPI and our customers as we continue to grow.”

Among Mr. Jondahl's accomplishments at BPI is the successful implementation of a large-scale global Oracle 12.1.3 ERP system that includes financials, manufacturing, shipping, inventory and order management modules, the company said, as well as implementation of an Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) reporting system.

Prior to joining BPI in 2012, the U.S. Navy veteran served as the director, systems infrastructure and operations, for Master Lock Co.

McHenry-based BPI makes friction, rotors, drums, calipers and hydraulic products that it said meet or exceed original equipment fit, form and function requirements.
