Tomlinson TMC's new general chairman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 20, 2015) — Kevin Tomlinson, director of maintenance at South Shore Transportation, has been elected 2015-2016 general chairman and treasurer of the American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC).

Mr. Tomlinson, who was TMC vice chairman and meetings chairman last year, succeeds Don Umphress of A&R Logistics.

The other new TMC officers for 2015-2016 are as follows:

• Douglas Arnolnd, Dunbar Armored, vice chairman and meetings chairman;

• Glen McDonald, Ozark Motor Lines, chairman of study groups;

• Peggy Fisher, TireStamp Inc., chairman of membership and publicity; and

• John Adami, NW Heavy Duty Component Sales, chairman of associates.

Mr. Umphress will serve as immediate past chairman this year, and Carl Kirk remains as TMC executive director.

TMC's directors-at-large include:

• Allen Caldwell, First Fleet;

• Kenneth Calhoun, Truck Centers of Arkansas;

• Todd Cotler, Hartt Transportation;

• David Foster, Worldwide Equipment;

• Jeff Harris, Swift Transportation;

• Joe Stiache, Peco Foods;

• John Sullivan, Reliable Carriers; and

• David Walters, Alcoa Wheel Products.
