NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2015) — The American Trucking Associations' Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) has awarded its highest honor, the Silver Spark Plug, to four TMC members.
This year's Silver Spark Plug winners are: Rob Nissen, national service manager, SAF-Holland U.S.A., Muskegon, Mich.; Glen McDonald, director of maintenance, Ozark Motor Lines, Memphis, Tenn.; George Arrants, program director for national training and recruitment, WheelTime Network, Lake Jackson, Texas; and Brian Mandt, engineering manager, Donaldson Co., Bloomington, Minn.
The Silver Spark Plug recognizes individuals in the trucking industry who are making outstanding contributions to the improvement of equipment, maintenance, industry-related technology and management practices, according to TMC Executive Director Carl Kirk.
