NOVA PRATA, Brazil — Borrachas Vipal S/A, a Brazilian tread rubber supplier, has officially made its VT190 tread pattern available for the North American and European markets.
Vipal Rubber rolls out VT190 tread
The tread, which Vipal debuted at Reifen 2014 in Essen, Germany, is geared toward the cargo transportation industry and offers performance on snowy and muddy roads, the company said.
According to Vipal, the tread can be used on small- and medium-sized trucks, along with minbuses, pickup trucks and light commercial vehicles. An open block-and-shoulder design provides traction and water drainage, which the tire maker said improves performance under tough ground conditions.
