KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Feb. 9, 2015) — Custom wheel maker Weld Racing L.L.C. has committed more than $125,000 in contingency funds for NHRA competitors this year, with drivers in the top fuel dragster and fuel funny car classes eligible for the first time.
“We are excited to expand our commitment to the NHRA drag racing community,…” said Weld Racing President and CEO Norm Young.
The company's contingency sponsorship also is offered in the pro stock, top alcohol dragster, top alcohol funny car, competition eliminator, super stock, stock eliminator, super comp, super gas, super street, top sportsman and top dragster categories.
To be eligible, competitors who use Weld wheels must display the brand's decal on their cars.
Weld engineers and produces its wheels at its facilities in Kansas City using aircraft grade aluminum alloys and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.
