HOWELL, Mich. (Feb. 6, 2015) — Industrial chemical and compound developer Chem-Trend L.P. is introducing three silicone-free inside tire paints, designed to simplify downstream cleaning required on some tires.
According to Chem-Trend, the paints represent three categories of inside tire paints used in the process of curing tires: unfilled tire paint, filled inside tire paint and durable unfilled tire paint.
These new water-based paints will allow tire manufacturers to introduce new products while eliminating aggressive cleaning chemicals and reducing environmental impact, the firm said.
Chem-Trend planned to show off the tire paints along with its full range of tire curing products at its booth (No. 4140) during the Tire Technology Expo, taking place Feb. 9-11 in Cologne, Germany. More information is available on the firm's website.
