FAIRFIELD, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2015) — East Bay Tire Co. has filled three management positions at its operations in California and Hawaii.

John Morton joins East Bay Tire as general manager for its Fresno, Calif. location. Mr. Morton has more than 15 years of tire industry experience, including wholesale operation, product management, and customer retention, East Bay said, with emphasis on Central Valley businesses. He previously was the Northern California director of operations for Am-Pac Tire Distributors Inc. — now owned by American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc.
Rodney Furoyama
Ryan Reese joins East Bay Tire as general manager for its Kona, Hawaii, location. East Bay said Mr. Reese started his career in 1989 at a Utah-based tire retailer and served as a location manager in the retail chain for more than six years. Prior to joining East Bay, Mr. Reese held the title of service manager at Lex Brodies Tire Co. in Hilo, Hawaii, for 12 years.
Rodney Furoyama has joined East Bay Tire's ECO Retread Shop based in Honolulu. He has been in the tire business for 40 years, East Bay said, 30 of which focused on recapping. His experience includes time with American Tire Co. of Honolulu. In addition, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the retail, wholesale, and commercial sides of the business to his position as general manager.
