TIA has overflow hotel for OTR Conference

TUCSON, Ariz. (Jan. 21, 2015) — The Embassy Suites Paloma Village will be the overflow hotel for the Tire Industry Association's (TIA) annual OTR Conference, which will be held in Tucson Feb. 18-21.

The overflow hotel is for conference attendees who failed to reserve a room at the headquarters hotel, the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, before the Jan. 16 deadline for reserving in TIA's block of rooms at the Westin, the trade group said.

The room rate at the Embassy Suites is $189, and includes free WiFi, breakfast and a nightly manager's reception. There will be free shuttle service between that hotel and the conference, according to the association.

The golf tournament at the OTR Conference is sold out, TIA said. There is, however, room still left in other activities, including the sporting clay tournament, the desert Jeep rally, the Sonoran Desert Museum trip, the southwestern jewelry-making class and the CAT equipment demo.
