AKRON (Jan. 16, 2015) — Myers Industries Inc. has launched an upgraded corporate website.
The new website features a modern design with improved navigation and is optimized for any mobile device, the company said. It features current company news and information that can be accessed directly from the homepage through a series of feature boxes and call outs.
The “About Us” section provides an interactive timeline of the company where users can scroll through the company's history — starting with the introduction of Myers Tire Supply in 1933 and continuing through to the present day's business of material handling and distribution. A new self-hosted blog site spotlights recent company activities and events.
The “Strategy & Business” section outlines Myers' long-term growth and financial goals, explains how the company's latest acquisitions and transactions support these goals, and outlines key business segments and areas of continued focus, according to the Akron-based company. It also provides an overview of Myers' two business segments: Material Handling, where Myers is a manufacturer of bulk storage containers and industrial packaging, and Distribution, where Myers distributes tire service supplies and equipment for the tire, wheel and undervehicle service market.
The “Investor Relations” has been updated so investors can access financial presentations, stock data, SEC filings, along with current and archived news releases and conference calls, Myers said.
The website also provides social media integration and direct links to Myers' Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube pages.
