MARENGO, Ill. (Jan. 9, 2015) — The nominating committee of the Equipment & Tool Institute (ETI) will meet soon to select a slate of nominees for the organization's board of directors.
The ETI said candidates will be voted on electronically prior to the institute's annual membership meeting scheduled for Monday, April 13, at ToolTech in Austin, Texas.
Three board seats belonging to David Rich, Dennis Keane and Kathy Kedzior are up for election due to expiring terms, according to the ETI, which is accepting applications for consideration by the nominating committee. There are no term limits for board members, nor does the ETI have an automatic term renewal policy. Existing board members and new candidates must both apply in order to be considered for the expired board seats.

“It is important that the nominee understands the scope and requirements of the position,” ETI said, adding that candidates will be asked to acknowledge this understanding when filling out the application form. That form is available by clicking here.
Persons who would like to be considered for a board of director or officer position should fill out the form, the ETI said.
Completed application forms should be submitted no later than Jan. 16. Candidates will be notified as to their application status in the latter part of January.
