TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2015) — Tire/wheel lease-purchase business franchisor RNR Wheels & Tires has redesigned its website to be more interactive with customers.
Tampa-based RNR Tire Express/Custom Wheels said that on its previous website customers could click through pictures of wheels and tires and get a general idea of what was available — such as the variety of colors, finishes, and sizes, as well as the vast array of styles.
The new site “ups the ante,” the company said. It provides customers with a store locator with nearest locations, a list of services, the ability to obtain a quick quote and make a payment, along with a gallery of photos of various wheels and tires already on vehicles.
The company has added a “Wheel Studio” where interested consumers can plug in the year, make and model of their vehicle to see what wheels will look like on their car, truck or SUV.
“Once you type in your car or truck's information, pages and pages of pictures will be generated of your vehicle with different wheels (sizes, colors, finishes, and offset information is available with each image), so that the consumer can actually see what their car or truck will look like with each set of new wheels,” RNR said.
The new website design “is also flexible enough to allow you to delete styles you don't like or send your favorite images to the top of the page, so you can compare how they look side-by-side,” the franchisor added. Consumers can then request a quote via email or phone and begin the process of purchasing new wheels.
Larry Sutton, RNR founder and president, said of the new design: “We really wanted to take our website to the next level and to give our customers a way to actually see the wheels they want on their car before they buy them. There are no surprises once the wheels are on; people know right away just how great their car or truck will look rolling out of one of our RNR stores.
“Our franchisees can use this feature in stores, as well, to help their customers visualize the end product and make decisions about their wheels. It's been a great success so far, and I'm thrilled to see how well it turned out.”
There are more than 60 RNR franchise locations in operation across the U.S.
