BROADVIEW, Ill. (Jan. 6, 2015) — Robert Bosch L.L.C., a global supplier of automotive parts, recently added 20 part numbers to its lineup, including brake pads and rotors, wiper blade sets, new and remanufactured alternators and remanufactured starters.

Bosch added eight brake pad sets to its Bosch Blue line, expanding the firm's coverage of late model domestic and Asian vehicles by another 10 million units in operation, it said. The new sets cover a variety of makes and models, including 2007-2012 Acura RDX, 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey, 2005-2010 Kia Sportage, 1991-2002 Honda Accord, 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, 2007-2010 Pontiac G5 and 2000-2004 Ford Focus.

Bosch Blue brake pads are designed for use by shops that service a variety of makes and models and are meant to serve the “everyday” driver looking for performance and value, the company said.

Bosch also added four SKUs to its QuietCast line of rotors, which it said are 100-percent factory mill precision balanced with OEM-style vane configurations and environmentally friendly, clear-look coatings designed to resist rust and corrosion.

The additional QuietCast rotors cover 2013-2015 Ford Fusion, 2013 Lincoln MKZ, 2012-2014 Honda CR-V, 2013-2015 Acura RDX, 2012-2014 Mercedes-Benz SLK350, 2012-2014 Toyota Camry and other vehicle models.

Another six new and remanufactured starter and alternator SKUs, covering more than 600,000 U.S. vehicles in operation, have been added to Bosch's product mix.

    New alternators are available for 2008-2010 Audi TT Quattro V6 3.2L, 2010 Audi TT Quattro 4-cylinder 2.0L, 2009-2011 Volkswagen CC V6 3.6L and 2012-2013 Volkswagen Passat V6 3.6L models. Remanufactured alternators are available for 2010-2013 Mazda 6 4-cylinder 2.5L and 2006 Hummer H3 V6 3.5L vehicles.

In addition, remanufactured starter coverage has been expanded to include 2010-2013 Mazda 3 4-cylinder 2.0L and 2011 Chrysler 200 4-cylinder 2.4L vehicle models, among others.

Lastly, Bosch has added two Aerotwin wiper blade sets, expanding the firm's coverage to an additional 1.8 million vehicles in operation, the firm said. The first set comes with two 22-inch blades for applications including 2004-2008 Audi A4 and S4 and 2006-2008 Mercedes-Benz RS4 models, among others.

The second set features one 24-inch and one 19-inch blade, designed to work with 2007-2012 Volkswagen Eos, 2010-2012 Volkswagen Golf, 2006-2010 Volkswagen Jetta, 2006-2011 Volkswagen Passat and other makes and models.
