Federal marks 60th with Taiwan celebration

TAIPEI, Taiwan (Nov. 17, 2014) — Taiwan tire maker Federal Corp. recently hosted a special event in Taiwan to conclude its year of 60th anniversary celebrations.

Federal, which has been soccer team Manchester United's official tire partner in Russia and Taiwan since 2013, hosted a carnival at Taoyuan that featured live performances by local TV show artists, a giant cake cutting ceremony and a tire/rubber sculpture exhibition. The company said the carnival was attended by more than 1,000 Federal partners, customers and staff.

Another highlight of Federal's diamond jubilee year was marked at the Moscow International Automobile Salon in Russia, according to Federal, featuring Manchester United legend Bryan Robson as the guest of honor. Additionally, the company staged celebrations in Japanese, European, Russian and American markets throughout the last 12 months.
