Texas dealer wins BMW from ATD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 13, 2014) — Mike Youngblood of Youngblood Automotive & Tire in Austin, Texas, is the new owner of a BMW 4-Series convertible, courtesy of American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc.'s (ATD) Bridgestone “Days of Summer” promotion.

Eligible dealers who purchased sets of Bridgestone and Firestone tires from ATD during the months of August and September earned chances to win prizes, ATD said.

Mr. Youngblood was presented the grand prize BMW on Nov. 5 by Craig Kennedy, market director for ATD, and John Rotundo, region manager, from Bridgestone Americas Inc.

“I appreciate the service and support provided by American Tire Distributors and their role in helping me grow my family business,” Mr. Youngblood said.

“I never imagined that my most recent meeting with the representatives from ATD and Bridgestone would be to receive the BMW grand prize in the latest promotion.  I am thankful for all who were involved and look forward to a continued partnership with these great companies.”

Youngblood Automotive operates four outlets in the Austin area.

Additionally, ATD said two first place winners were also drawn to win a choice of either a Yamaha WaveRunner or a Yamaha Utility ATV.  The winners were Dolan and Chris Davis of Davis Tire & Retreading Inc. in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Steven Lykken of Steve's Wheel & Tire in Buellton, Calif.

ATD also awarded 12 second prizes of 64GB iPad Airs to a dozen additional dealers.
