I need to get another infrared gun, so I've been checking around. Why can I buy a gun at a national retailer $140 cheaper than I can off the tool truck?
“It's all about quality. Remember: Whatever you purchase, you get what you pay for and that includes infrared guns. There is a reason why one is cheaper than it's counterpart. It's all about profit and the quality of parts installed into the device. Compare apples to apples for the best overall deal.”
I've been looking at a tool cart. Is it worth putting money into another box?
“It depends upon how you work. If you have multiple bays, a tool cart could be very helpful regarding your productivity (which equals larger paycheck). But, if you are a single bay tech, a rolling cart may be a better bet for your wallet. So, think about how you would use the new box versus a cart and see what's going to benefit your wallet.”
