HOUSTON (Nov. 11, 2014) — The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) has published the 2014 edition of Worldwide Rubber Statistics, its source for data about synthetic rubber and the SR industry.
This book, which has been published for more than 30 years, includes revisions to other elastomer type capacities in the changing synthetic rubber market. According to the IISRP, which publishes the book, China has played a key part in enhancing the intelligence on the Chinese market.
The 86-page book provides an analysis of capacity by elastomer type, by geographical distribution and by corporate ownership. It also features a graphics section that emphasizes statistics and a section on capacities of synthetic rubber production facilities throughout the world, including a section on planned and announced expansions of synthetic rubber plants.
The book is available for $2,500 on the IISRP website.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit trade association with more than 50 corporate members — in 23 countries — who produce 80 percent of the world's supply of synthetic rubber. It is based in Houston and has offices in Milan, Tokyo and Beijing.
