PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.—TBC Corp. has extended limited casing warranty coverage on Sumitomo-brand medium radial truck tires to 72 months from 48 months and increased casing allowances for the first and second retreads.
“Sumitomo's reputation for precision engineering, innovative technology and craftsmanship is made even stronger with these warranty enhancements,” said Brad Feeney, manager of commercial tires for TBC Brands, which is the exclusive marketer of Sumitomo tires in North America.
The enhancements cover all Sumitomo-brand medium radial truck tires, TBC said, including the SE series of fuel-efficient tires.
According to the warranty itself, the coverage terminates after two retreadings. Also, tires in off-highway service are excluded.
