    LAS VEGAS (Nov. 6, 2014) — Aftermarket brake and chassis components maker and supplier Centric Parts has expanded its offerings with the introduction of a complete program of premium chassis components.

    The company announced the full-coverage program in Las Vegas prior to the opening of the AAPEX Show at the Sands Convention Center. The roll out of the program coincides with the opening of Centric's new Chassis Center of Excellence in Madison Heights, Mich., which consolidates its chassis research and development programs under one roof.

    Centric's new chassis program offers wide coverage of suspension and steering components for the majority of vehicles sold in the U.S. over the past 70 years, according to the firm. The parts are engineered “to restore OE performance, designed to provide smooth steering and exceptional control, using premium materials and hardware for extended service life,” it said.

    The program includes these components:

    • Steering;

    • Tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves;

    • Inner sockets (rack & pinion);

    • Rack and pinion bushings and bellows kits;

    • Drag and center links;

    • Idler and pitman arms;

    • Track bars;

    • Suspension;

    • Ball joints and control arm assemblies;

    • Control arm bushings and shaft kits;

    • Radius arm and strut rod bushing kits;

    • Sway bar links and mount bushings;

    • Axle pivot, spring and miscellaneous bushings;

    • Coil springs; and

    • King pins.

    “We have been a major participant in the suspension category for over 10 years,” said Paul Stewart, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Centric. “As with the brake category, our goal is to provide our customers with the best value, enabling them to grow sales and profits.”

    The new program represents an evolution and expansion of Centric's existing program at Madison Heights-based parts supplier Qualis Automotive. Centric said its chassis program currently includes more than 8,500 Centric Premium SKUs, as well as nearly 2,000 C-Tek standard chassis components that will be available for purchase in late November.

    More information on Centric's product lines is available on its website or by calling 800-758-3004.

    The company's AAPEX booth is #9701; at the SEMA Show, its StopTech brake parts booth is #23429.

    Centric components — for passenger vehicles, light and medium duty trucks, fleet vehicles, high performance vehicles and race cars — are marketed under the Centric, C-Tek, Posi Quiet, Fleet Performance and StopTech labels.
