This summer NAPA Auto Parts raised $1.7 million for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. ATLANTA (Nov. 6, 2014) — NAPA Auto Parts has announced its “Get Back and Give Back” campaign raised more than $1.73 million for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), a not-for-profit organization that serves U.S. military personnel wounded or injured in service and their families.

The “Get Back and Give Back” campaign, held each July since 2012, offers NAPA customers the opportunity to contribute to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund by purchasing T-shirts, wristbands and lapel pins at participating NAPA auto parts stores or at NAPAonline.com.

NAPA is one of the largest single donors to the IFHF, raising more than $3 million to date, and this year's  campaign surpassed its fundraising goal by more than 70 percent, the company said.

Campaign proceeds will be added to the IFHF's goal of raising $100 million to build National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) Satellite Centers focused on the diagnosis and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries.

“All of us at NAPA Auto Parts take great pride each July in wearing the red-white-and-blue T-shirts bearing the slogan, ‘NAPA: We Believe in Heroes,'” said NAPA President Dan Askey.

One-hundred percent of all campaign funds raised go directly to the IFHF. NAPA donated an additional $3 for every T-shirt, 50 cents for each bracelet and 70 cents for each lapel pin sold. Customers making purchases of $25 or more at NAPA stores received free NAPA/IFHF caps, with NAPA donating $1 to the IFHF for every cap given away.
