LAS VEGAS (Nov. 6, 2014) — Max-Trac Tire Co Inc., which does business as Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels (MT), unveiled its Deegan 38 wheel line at the SEMA Show in in Las Vegas.

Brian Deegan, six-time Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) champion and namesake of the line, was there to roll out the products. “I like to do my homework. When I look at brands I like to study,” he said at the Mickey Thompson booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

He explained he is actively involved in the process of creating the line, not just putting his name on the products.

Brian Deegan, six-time Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series champion and namesake of Mickey Thompson's wheel line and light truck tire, says he likes to "do my homework. When I look at brands I like to study.”

Mr. Deegan attended the SEMA Show last year as well, where Mickey Thompson debuted the Deegan 38 light truck tire.

Ultimately, he said he would like to make a name in this sport — and not just by winning.

With his partnership with Mickey Thompson, first with the tire and now with the wheel line, he is on his way to making this happen.

MT said the Deegan 38 wheels, scheduled for availability in March 2015, will debut with two styles for street truck, SUV and Jeep — the Pro 2 Black and the Pro 4 Black.

The Deegan 38 Pro 4 is a heavy-duty wheel featuring a race-inspired eight-spoke design with a two-stage matte black finish and a logo-crested pop-top center cap. The Pro 4 will be available in 15- to 17-inch fitments, MT said, and will carry a limited lifetime warranty as well as a one-year warranty on the finish.

The Deegan 38 Pro 2 wheel features a multi-dimensional eight-spoke design with a two-stage matte black finish and logo-crested pop-top center cap. The Pro 2 will be available in 15- to 20-inch fitments and also will carry a limited lifetime warranty as well as a one-year warranty on the finish.
