LAS VEGAS (Nov. 4, 2014) — The Automotive Maintenance Repair Association/Motorist Assurance Program (AMRA/MAP) elected its 2014-15 board of directors and officers during its annual membership meeting Nov. 3 at the Venetian in Las Vegas during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show.
Newly elected members of the board are Chuck Abbott, CPS Products Inc.; Bill Ihnken, Just Brakes Inc.; Ricky Jackson, Jiffy Lube International Inc.; Jerry Lott, Bridgestone Retail Operations; Rich Schossler, Goodyear; and Al Wheeler, Advance Auto Parts/CARQUEST.
AMRA/MAP's 2014-15 fiscal year officers include Lynn Parker, Lynn Parker Associates L.L.C., chairman; Mr. Jackson, vice chairman; Len Vogt, Lenco, secretary/treasurer; and Denny Bowen, Hunter Engineering Co., assistant treasurer.
The meeting also included a report from AMRA's Technical Committee, a regulatory/legislative update and a networking reception.
