TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Oct. 31, 2014) — For the third consecutive year, Omni United USA's “Mobilizing Hope” campaign and corporate alliance program has raised funds to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Through the program, Omni pledged that for every one of its Radar-brand tires sold between April 2013 and the February 2014 it would donate $5 per tire, with a minimum donation of $200,000 and a maximum donation of $250,000 to the campaign. With its recent contribution to the BCRF, the company said it has reached $750,000 in total donations over the three-year period.

Mobilizing Hope was launched in 2011 and has continued to grow along with the Radar-brand network — Omni said the tires are available through more than 800 tire retailers. According to the company, money raised in the campaign goes directly to the BCRF to help prevent, treat and ultimately eradicate breast cancer. This year's recipient of funds from Omni was Dr. John Forbes and Dr. Jack Cuzick, both working on prevention strategies and effective treatments for women at risk of, or diagnosed with the disease.

“We at Omni United are proud to actively support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in their inspirational endeavors to saving millions of women's lives,” said G.S. Sareen, Omni's president and CEO.

“It is our firm belief that our company has a responsibility towards the world — a responsibility that goes beyond making safe, eco-friendly, durable tires for our customers. We admire the BCRF's efficiency and relentless focus on funding the most cutting edge medical research to prevent and find a cure for breast cancer. We would like this company and our brands to leave a different type of mark in the world.”

Omni United's program features all of its Radar-brand products including RPX, Dimax, Verenti, Renegade, and Angler Series. The line's range covers all segments of the consumer market with PCR, SUV, CUV, UHP, H/T, A/T, M/T, winter and ST radials, according to the tire marketer.

The company is the U.S. arm of Singapore-based Omni United, a manufacturer of passenger, SUV, truck, bus and farm tires marketed under the Radar, Goodride, RoadLux and Corsa brand names.
