WAYNE, N.J. (Oct. 29, 2014) — Hankook Tire America Corp. is launching a “Great Winter” mail-in rebate promotion, running Nov. 1 through Dec. 15, that offers rebates of up to $70 on a set of four qualifying Hankook passenger or light truck winter tires.

Hankook said this is its first-ever rebate program on winter tires. The program stipulates consumers need to buy from an authorized Hankook dealer.

The rebate program applies to the Winter i*cept evo, Winter i*cept iZ and i*Pike RW11, Hankook said.

Hankook Winter i*cept evo (Pattern Code: W310), $70 rebate — The Winter i*cept evo is an ultra-high performance winter tire with an asymmetrical tread design, along with a silica tread compound, and offers what the company said is “exceptional grip for harsh winter weather conditions,” with an outer longitudinal rib block for breaking and cornering.

Hankook Winter i*cept iZ (Pattern Code: W606), $40 rebate — The i*cept iZ ultra-high performance winter tire features a 3D shoulder block design to improve handling performance and 3D kerf design for improved traction and breaking.

Hankook i*Pike RW11 (Pattern Code: RW11), $40 rebate — The premium studdable i*Pike RW11 can be used in the SUV and light truck market, designed as an all-terrain winter tire with variable stepped groove tread design increases snow traction, with a unique stone ejector design in the tire's center and shoulder grooves that the company said help to prevent tire damage from stones or external impacts.

“Our ‘Great Catch' and ‘Great Hit' rebate offers have been very well received by both dealers and consumers over the years,” said Byeong Jin Lee, president of Hankook Tire.

“The new ‘Great Winter' rebate, for the first time, offers consumers the opportunity to save on Hankook winter tires.”

For more information on the promotion, visit Hankook Tire's website or the company's Facebook and Twitter social media channels.
