    FINDLAY, Ohio (Oct. 28, 2014) — Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. has added the Ironman All Country A/T to its Ironman brand line-up of tires.

    The All Country A/T delivers assured traction and confident handling on the road and off, Hercules said, and tackles mud, water and rocks while delivering comfortable highway driving.

    The line features 17 SUV- and LT-designated sizes in 15-18 inch rim diameters.

    “We continue to strategically define our Ironman brand line-up and the All Country A/T is an important addition to the offering,”

    said Joshua Simpson, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tires. “The performance and rugged aesthetic of this tire, combined with the positioning, make this a very attractive offering.”

    Features include:

    • Large tread blocks and deep grooves to ensure enhanced off-road traction;
    • Wide-angled lateral grooves and void ratio to enhance mud and water evacuation for all-surface traction performance;
    • A buttress design to enhance traction in muddy conditions and guard against puncture;
    • A tread compound that adds longevity and promotes enhanced wet traction; and
    • M+S Rated.

    Ironman — an associate brand of Findlay-based Hercules — offers a balance of quality and economy, according to the private brander. It includes passenger, light truck, medium truck, OTR, agricultural, specialty and industrial lines.

    Hercules did not specify the new tire's manufacturer or country of origin.
