AVOCA, Pa. (Oct. 21, 2014) — Jack Williams Tire Co. has partnered with the Luzern County Community College (LCCC) in Nanticoke, Pa., to offer a training program for general service technicians.
According to Jack Williams, the training program will allow technicians the opportunity to complete a Tire Industry Association (TIA) certification program and will feature hands-on training with the latest equipment by Hunter Engineering Co.
“We are looking forward to our partnership with Jack Williams Tire Co., which we hope will benefit students in LCCC's automotive, diesel engine technology and other business-related programs,” said Susan Spry, vice president, Workforce and Community Development division, LCCC. “Our collaboration with Jack Williams Tire Co. will assist LCCC through its participation on our industry advisory boards and through work-based learning and employment opportunities for our students.”
