Alliance Tire Americas names Clark president

WAKEFIELD, Mass. (Oct. 8, 2014) — Alliance Tire Americas Inc. has named James (Jim) Clark the company's president, effective Oct. 15.

Mr. Clark will be based out of Alliance's Wakefield headquarters. Alliance Tire said he has held leadership positions with global companies including General Electric, United Technologies Corp. and Verint Systems Inc.

Mr. Clark fills the position left open since May when Manny Cicero announced he was leaving the company he had led since 2007.

Most recently, Mr. Clark was managing director of Dunes Point Capital in Rye, N.Y.

“Jim's combination of management experience and strong customer focus will help us fulfill our goal of becoming one of the world's top three manufacturers of agricultural, forestry and construction tires in the years to come,” said Yogesh Mahansaria, founder and CEO of Alliance Tire Group, parent company of Alliance Tire Americas.
