ARLINGTON, Va. (Oct. 6, 2014) — The American Trucking Association's Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) and the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) are joining in an effort to enhance their maintenance certification programs, according to ATA.
Beginning in October, TMC and NATMI will examine, update and enrich all aspects of their certification programs — the Certified
Director of Maintenance certification (CDM/E) and Certified Supervisor of Maintenance Certification (CSM/E).
CDM/E and CSM/E candidates are full-time administrators who have demonstrated their expertise and leadership in establishing programs and policies, setting standards and mastering new technologies and systems in the truck maintenance field, ATA said.
TMC and NATMI expect to roll out the enhanced CDM/E and CSM/E programs in February 2015, according to the ATA.
