PINE BROOK, N.J. (Sept. 22, 2014) — American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc.'s Tire Pros business alliance is partnering with Wexco Industries Inc. AutoTex Windshield Wipers business this October with the “Wipe Out Breast Cancer” campaign, featuring AutoTex's Pink-brand wipers.
In conjunction with Tire Pros' “Local Dealer Days” promotional campaign starting Sept. 22, participating Tire Pros locations across the U.S. will offer AutoTex Pink wiper blades to its customers, with a portion of the proceeds from each sale benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The campaign draws inspiration from market research that shows one of every three drivers on the road needs new wiper blades. When Tire Pros heard about AutoTex Pink wiper blades, the company said it was thrilled to find a relevant product and organization that enables its independent, locally owned dealers to show support for breast cancer research and patient care.
AutoTex Pink blades are premium, OEM quality blades that fit more than 99 percent of current applications, Tire Pros said, and come in a traditional black frame with a small pink ribbon and in full pink color to denote the cause.
