SANTA PAULA, Calif. (Aug. 28, 2014) — BendPak Inc. recently broke ground on 67,000-sq.-ft. multi-purpose warehouse and shipping center it is building on a 3.7-acres site in Santa Paula.
The new facility, expected to be completed by spring 2015, will expand BendPak's shipping and logistics operation further, the firm said, allowing it to meet growing customer needs.
“We are excited about this further expansion as it will provide more warehouse and shipping space and add additional logistic and order processing facilities, not to mention additional parking,” said Javier Arias, vice president of operations, BendPak.
“The fact that the property sits right next to our existing location and became available for purchase presented a great solution.”
With the new facility, BendPak said it will be able to deliver products faster to its growing consumer base.
“This new expansion demonstrates to our customers that BendPak continues looking for ways to improve our level of service,” said Donald Henthorn, BendPak president and owner.
“We remain focused on growing and will continue to increase the size of our facilities to accommodate it. This new building expands our operations without having to move and disrupt our day-to-day operations.”
Santa Paula-based BendPak is a leading producer of lifting systems, pipe-benders and air compressors under the BendPak and Ranger brand names.
