he Small Business Administration is a Federal agency established in 1953 with a goal of helping Americans start, build and grow businesses. SBA provides assistance to U.S. citizens that want to open their own businesss and help established U.S. small and medium-sized businesses that want to grow by providing among other things, access to capital and federal procurement opportunities. This program offers an overview of SBA programs and services, local resources and special programs, and will address the steps needed to identify and participate in Federal contracting opportunities. ITEC participants will learn how to position their companies to take advantage of SBA programs and to partake of the over $400 Billion dollars in annual federal procurement opportunities.
