PANAMA CITY, Panama (Aug. 13, 2014) — The inaugural Latin Auto Parts Expo, held July 9-11 at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City, brought in 193 exhibitors and more than 3,200 participants, according to show organizers.
The convention, which is run by Miami, Fla.-based Latin Expo Group L.L.C., attracted buyers from more than 60 countries, including areas such as Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean Islands.
The Auto Care Association (ACA), formerly the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, served as a partner for the event.
“This is the gateway to all of Latin America,” said Andres Castrillon, director of international trade, ACA. “This is a great place to do business through. We wanted to support a show where our members could come and talk to buyers throughout the region.”
The Latin Expo Group said priority booth space selection is now available online for the 2015 show, which will take place June 18-20.
