AKRON (Aug. 13, 2014) — Where can you go to find real-world answers and ideas for improving your tire and automotive service operations, and do it all in two and a half days?
The answer is this year's ITEC Tire Dealers/Auto Service show, which is filled with seminars, panels and industry experts covering timely and pertinent topics targeted at owners, managers and employees of tire dealerships and automotive service shops.
Are you interested in learning how to best position pricing in your dealership? What about ways to turn online sales leads into customers? Are you looking for best practice tips for managers at the service counter? Would you like some new ideas for selling auto maintenance?
All of these and more are on the program for this year's ITEC Tire Dealers/Auto Service show Aug. 20-22 in Orlando, Fla.
With one week to go before the ITEC show begins, there's still time to make plans to attend.
At ITEC Tire Dealers/Auto Service, attendees will be able to hear from and participate in the Internet Marketing Panel, where industry experts, including several from independent tire dealerships, will share tips, discuss online trends and answer questions—without all the jargon.
Interested in gaining better knowledge about tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)? ITEC Tire Dealers/Auto Service offers three seminars on TPMS and a wrap-up roundtable session where you can get additional questions answered.
There are also sessions on compliance and regulations affecting tires, maximizing profits in the service bays, and panels on farm tires and retreading.
“This year's show in Orlando has something for everybody in the tire and automotive service businesses,” said Hank Inman, vice chairman of the educational program. “It presents a great opportunity to learn and takeaway ideas that can be applied immediately once a tire dealer or service shop owner or manager returns to their places of business.”
All told, the show offers 45 seminars, nine panel presentations and two roundtable educational sessions. There's also a trade show with tire and automotive exhibitors and plenty of networking opportunities.
The ITEC Tire Dealers/Auto Service show takes place at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Convention Center. Cost is just $65 for those who register by Aug. 19 and $100 at the door.
