AKRON—Tire Business is expanding its coverage of the tire and automotive service industries to Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean with the launching of a Spanish- and English-language email newsletter, Tire Business Latin America. Introduced at the recent Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo in Panama City, Panama, Tire Business Latin America will be produced two times in 2014. The issue frequency will be increased in 2015. The editorial content will follow the same approach as with Tire Business, focusing on news, commentary and data coverage of the tire and auto service markets in Mexico and Latin America. Tire Business has established a team of freelance reporters in Mexico and Latin America who will provide local coverage across the region, supplemented with reporting by the Tire Business editorial staff based in Akron. “We are excited about this new online e-news product,” said David Zielasko, editor and publisher of Tire Business. “There is a need for more tire and automotive service news and information in these areas of the world, and we are looking forward to delivering the same in-depth reporting coverage as readers have come to expect from Tire Business. “Judging by the reaction of attendees at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo, there is keen interest in the new email newsletter.” Tire Business Latin America is offered free of charge. Interested readers may sign up for the newsletter online at tirebusiness.com. Click on the “subscribe” button and “e-newsletters” to register.
