NASHVILLE (July 31, 2014) — Cincinnati-based Tire Discounters is opening the first of what will be 16 stores in Nashville with a flourish — by donating 18,000-plus pairs of shoes to Nashville-based nonprofit Soles 4 Souls.
Tire Discounters Founder and Chairman Chip Wood was on hand this morning to help deliver the shoes — collected over the past several weeks at the dealership's stores in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee — to Soles 4 Souls representatives at the newest store, in Mount Juliet, a city of about 24,000 inhabitants east of Nashville.
