NORCROSS, Ga. (July 21, 2014) — Mighty Auto Parts has launched an Automotive Sales Service Inspection Support Tool or ASSIST as a tablet app for its automotive service dealers.
The app features are a vehicle inspection checklist and a menu of automotive services. Both contain customizable content that can be used to communicate and educate consumers as to the condition of their vehicles and applicable services offered by the participating service facility, the company said.
ASSIST has the ability to take, attach and send pictures and to email completed inspection forms with a “thank you” note. It also can be used to manually enter or scan VIN barcodes and can auto-populate make, year and model fields on the profile page. The app has been field tested and proven to heighten customer satisfaction and increase sales, according to Mighty.
