SAN DIEGOTBC Corp.'s Big O Tires unit awarded Dutch Tryon and Scott Koldenhoven, franchisees in Kansas and Colorado/New Mexico, respectively, its top individual honors at the company's national convention earlier this year in San Diego.
Additionally, Big O Tires presented Standing 'O' Awardswhich recognize franchisees and corporate staff for going above and beyond to support Big Oto franchisees and company personnel:
c Mike Pryor, owner and partner in 12 stores in Colorado and New Mexico;
c Dave Doyle, owner of two stores in Indianapolis;
c Ryan Stewart, owner of one store in Wyoming;
c Josh Landess, store manager in Colorado Springs, Colo.; and
c Rhonda Ceballos, senior credit analyst for TBC.
Mr. Tryon, owner of Big O Tires stores in Topeka and Lawrence, Kan., was recognized with the Point of Light Award, which recognizes extraordinary franchisees who have contributed to the Big O organization with their knowledge, expertise, and dedication, TBC said. Mr. Tryon has been a franchisee since 2005.
Mr. Koldenhoven, owner and partner in a dozen stores in Colorado and New Mexico, was named the 2013 International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchisee of the Year, which recognizes one franchisee annually for outstanding results and dedication to growing the Big O brand. The award is presented in association with the IFA.
More than 750 Big O Tires franchise owners, managers, and corporate associates recently gathered in San Diego for the organization's 52nd annual convention, which was themed Full Speed Ahead. Among news the attendees took home with them was information about Big O's latest marketing initiatives, including the national CARMA Car Caring campaign.
