MONROVIA, Calif.China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C (CMA) will launch the Duraturn brand as a full tire linepassenger, light truck, trailer and medium truckat the upcoming International Tire Exhibition & Conference-Tire Dealers/Auto Service (ITEC) Aug. 20-22 in Orlando, Fla.
Besides launching the Duraturn line, CMA will showcase its Double Coin truck/OTR, Warrior passenger/light truck and Dynatrail specialty trailer tire lines at its booth, No. 400.
CMA has secured the North American marketing rights to the Duraturn brand, which is owned and produced by China's Shaanxi Yangchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co. Ltd., according to Aaron Murphy, vice president.
CMA has offered Duraturn truck tires for the past 18 months, but this marks the debut of the expanded portfolio, he said, and gives CMA a more price-point sensitive consumer tire line alongside the Warrior brand, which was launched earlier this year.
In addition, CMA Vice President Walt Weller will speak on The Importance of China in the Global Tire Industry at ITEC, and Mr. Murphy will be on a panel of industry experts discussing the OTR tire segment.
